Beverly Gruber's Gourmet Traveler

Beverly Gruber's Gourmet Traveler

Join Bev Gruber, professional chef and culinary tour guide,

as she shares her love and knowledge of Italy & France with her small tour groups (4-12). Bev has assembled an amazing assortment of friends & colleagues to introduce you to - the baker, the butcher, winemaker, balsamic master, olive oil producer, cheesemaker, grappa producer and cooking instructors. Plus chefs too numerous to mention. All are national treasures.

Because Italy & France are about much more than food, we strive to offer you a complete experience through our network of "locals", all of whom are eager to share their love of country and its rich traditions. To maximize the experiences, museum visits have professional art guides; city tours are led by knowledgeable guides.

In Tuscany we stay in an immaculately restored Villa, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves; a short distance from a charming hillside town in the middle of Chianti. In Liguria we're in a wonderful hotel overlooking the water; a really luxurious setting. In Venice we're in a restored Palazzo; in France a charming, fully-renovated hotel. In Puglia we stay at a 4-star beachfront hotel. Wherever we go, we are housed in a facility typical of the area but modernized.

Our tours are a combination of food, wine, laughter, excursions, shopping; the best of all worlds. Sharing with friends makes good times even better. Tours are scheduled for spring and fall to avoid crowds and maximize product availability. Suitable for cooks and non-cooks who like to eat.SPECIAL 10% DISCOUNT for select trips.
